我上面所说的 Physical hazards 是指 MSDS 中常用的术语 Physical hazards。其定义是 Physical hazards are those substances which threaten your physical safety。
同样的术语一定要根据上下文来判断它的意思。例如，李斌所说的 physical examination 是指体检。但在某些上下文中，physical examination 确实可以指物理检查，还可以指物理考试。

翻譯成物理治療﹐也是一個錯誤﹐其實它指的就是用儀器從體外對身體進行的治療(區別於吃藥和開膛)﹐結果給翻譯成了物理治療。不過這個歪打正著了﹐對於說漢語的受眾來說﹐Physical therapy所用的那些儀器﹐確實都是物理性的﹐因此給這些療法取一個物理治療的名字﹐倒也不錯。簡稱理療。

我想在国内经过 六、七十年代的人都熟悉不少相关文件上 "人身安全" 的通常说法.
BTW, I just noticed the mistake in the phonetics of "身体" transcribed by 《金山词霸》. The correct pronunciation should be shēntǐ
I think a dictionary ought to get a simple thing like that right.

Thanks, Zhoudan. I guess I jumped to the wrong conclusion.
Actually, the only dictionaries I consult these days are the online ones that are free, most of the times to look up something being discussed in this forum.
