German term

Unterlegteile

German to English Tech/Engineering Transport / Transportation / Shipping
This is in a checklist for the condition of trucks & trailers that are brought back. You have to check off the condition of the lights, fenders, bumpers etc. Down on the list, I see "Unterlegteile".

Any ideas?

wedges

if your list refers to material used in fastening/straightening the cargo on the trailer surface, "wedge" would be the right expression. If it only covers mechanical equipment related to the vehicle itself, "chocks" would be correct.
