planta de cubiertas

just a quick question - is this a roof terrace or an attic area? I'm pretty sure it's a roof terrace, but something someone said to me has made me question it.....any help appreciated! thanks

roof level

I certainly don't think it's an attic area. And terrace sounds too grand (it may not be for leisure purposes).

Anyway, the following link suggests "roof level", which I think is quite possible. It's basically the floor where the roof is, and in your case (I assume appartments) it is a flat surface.

Thank you
agree alejandra_a : i´m an architect and "planta de cubiertas" is actually a drawing illustrating a building's roofs just like "planta de primer piso" would be a plan illustrating a building's first floor. but, i feel that this would be the closest translation. :)
