Explanation:
IBM's ScrollPoint mouse has what they call a "pointing stick" that can be used for horizontal and vertical scrolling. It's like a mini-joystick or, for those of you familiar with IBM laptops, like a TrackPoint (remember those little red "nubs" you can mouse around with?).
