Spanish term

cuya elaboración social todavía está en curso

Spanish to English Social Sciences History Chile
Full sentence:

I think it's not well written in the first place, but I'm having a really hard time figuring out what *cuya* refers to. Thanks!!

Discussion

Christina Courtright (asker) Apr 16, 2007:
That is a helpful clarification!
claudia16 (X) Apr 16, 2007:
elaboración is a process where by the person or society finally comes to accept past events and is able to leave them behind and move on, that is "coming to terms with"

Selected

which Chile's society is still coming to terms with.

"which Chile's society is still coming to terms with."
"which are still being dealt with in Chile's society"
"elaboración social" translated literarly could be amibugous as it would include terms such as social/society work, etc.
Hope I haven't understranslated :))

modifica a conflictos y experiencias
