credito could be either loan or credit... if no more context, I guess credit is your best bet...

Compensation or idemnification
The transaltion of risarcimento is as above (it's term used a lot in relation to insurance) - so yes, I think your translation is acceptable but you could also say "Compensation for credit collection costs" or "recovery of credit collection costs". If on the other hand the party seeking this compensation was insured against these costs then perhaps the very specific "indemnification" might be more appropriate!

: Technically on the word itself, I'd agree with you, Tony, but here I think the Italian is using the wrong word which for the client's benefit should be corrected in translation.
