Link below refers to 'integrative pension funds' - which sounds like an Italianism

idea is that a pension fund is constituted from employer contributions to supplement current state pension fund payouts which are likely to prove inadequate in the future.

Could also have 'top-up' pension funds, but think supplementary sounds better.

To Bianca - point taken, but I think you have to specify that the funds are supplementary to a basic fund - probably a better overall term is \'supplementary benefit fund\', but you would probably have to specify on a case by case basis - e.g. supplementary disability fund, etc.

My hunch is that the CI and the fondi integrativi are unrelated - since the CI is managed by the INPS, while the fondi integrativi are privately-managed pension funds established by employers (or groups of employers) to provide a supplementary pension to retiring/disadvantaged workers precisely because the state pension is inadequate.
