English term

Electricity Evacuation Infrastructure

English to French Tech/Engineering Energy / Power Generation
Electricity Evacuation Infrastructure (Overhead Medium-Voltage Line) for withdrawal of the energy produced by the Photovoltaic Plants

Le texte n'a pas été écrit par un Anglais et je doute qu'on parle "d'évacuation" de l'électricité en français également. Je cherche le terme technique utilisé. Merci

Discussion

Johannes Gleim Oct 8, 2009:
I do not understand your explanation. The solar energy is always converted into electricity and supplied to individual consumer loads or into the grid (the mains). It is impossible (at least disadviced to supply energy from the mains into solar pannels, what would lead to overtemperatures and desintegration of the pannel. <br>Which energy is sent from which component to which other device? Or should "evacuation" means that produced energy is "burned" anywhere, if the grid do not accepts supply?
Florence LOUIS (asker) Oct 8, 2009:
It has to do with energy transport, yes, but I need a term that conveys the idea that this is the energy produced by the photovoltaic plants that is transported "back" to the mains, not the other way (not the transport of the energy/electricity required by the photovoltaic plants to work). Evacuation conveys the right meaning but does not sound right in the electrical field.
Johannes Gleim Oct 7, 2009:
Evacuation and withdrawal should be understood as supply or energie transport ? Or is this a disconnetion of lines?

neutral GILLES MEUNIER : si c'est withdrawal of the energy , je ne vois pas comment on peut arriver à transport....

cf le lien, c'est comme ça que ça s'appelle. Pourquoi, pour vous, il s'agit des ambulances?
