From a statement of account from a German Bank. I can't find a translation of 'Verlusttopf' or 'Quellensteuertopf' online. Actually, it's the '-topf' bit I don't undestand in the context.

I think this is a specific German/EU law, modified 2008 for 2009. This is why you couldn't "google" it. On the other hand, do you have a better suggestion to translate "-topf" then "pot"? Then feel free to give our collegue a better answer:)
