Lirka, see below - I think that Soja is on the right track. I would not speak of extravasation, as this kind of admixture may really happen also postmortally, during cutting of the sections, also in post-surgical specimens, and the RBCs are simply visible in the histological image - in contrast, extravasation would mean IMO a process of migration of RBCs through vessel walls, happening in the living organism. (-> overtranslation)
