Sorry - I see I have spelled it wrongly - it should be \"an debeatur\" and \"quantum debeatur\".
When I say \"debt\" above I mean the debt arising from the claim for damages, not any other kind of debt.
"an" = " an deabatur" (whether the debt exists - there is also quantum deabatur = how much the debt amounts to
e.g.
"R. Quantum of [buyers'] damages (Claims 1, 2, 3a, 3b, 7 and 8)
