Spanish term
fases pulmonares

Medical (general)
Chest CAT
In a report of a chest (thoracic) CAT scan:
Hallazgos: Fibrosis pulmonar leve sin signos de actividad en ambas *fases pulmonares.*
I've never encountered "fases pulmonares" before, and don't find anything that fits when I search for "lung phases" or "pulmonary phases" in google, and also nothing in any previous KudoZ questions.
Is this a typo for "bases" pulmonares, or what does this mean/how would we say it in English?
Thank you for your help!

lung bases
I'd definitely think it is a typo for "bases pulmonares". The translation is the same, lung bases.

You're welcome, Joseph. Nice of you to have noticed that I was "gone" for a while. I have been kind of busy with some work and my sister in law staying with me. She just gave birth to my niece a little over 2 weeks ago and they are going to be with us until the beginning of next month. So it feels like I have a newborn all over again!
