French term

soins d'usage

Non-PRO French to English Bus/Financial Finance (general) Terms and conditions for current account
This is one of those instances where I know roughly what is meant by this phrase but cannot for the life of me think of the right English equivalent for this context (business/legal). I have Googled it and found it in many French articles but can't find it translated anywhere online and have never been required to translate it myself before.

The document is an agreement between a French bank and "the Client" setting out the general terms and conditions for operation of a current account. This appears in the section entitled "Limitation of liability" - i.e. the list of instances where the Bank cannot be held responsible for loss or damages. The full sentence is a bullet point:

"- les actes de tiers chargés par la Banque de l'exécution des ordres du Client, si le choix du tiers a été fait par le Client ou si la Banque a fait le choix du tiers et lui a donné ses instructions avec les soins d'usage;"

It is UK English and the language used is on the legal side.

Thanks in advance!
