Simple interrupted suture
First, between half and two thirds of the incision is closed cranially, before the remaining incision is closed caudally.
The spacing between stitches should be 1.5 - 2 cm.
Anchoring (1st stitch) cranial
The sutured is anchored in healthy tissue.
The needle inserted in the incision in a V-shape and exerted from the incision in a V-shape
Suture cranial
Up to two thirds, but at least half of the incision is closed cranially
Suture caudal
Now the caudal suture is applied in the same way as the cranial suture.
Knots cranial
As soon as all stitches have been applied, the cranial knots are tied with 4 - 6 flat throws in opposite directions
