Table construction
This is from an office supplies catalogue. It's a caption to a picture of a table with a solid wooden top and metal legs. All it says is:
"Besonders robust und verzugsfrei durch längsseitige riegelartige Zahnverleimung"
I imagine riegelartig means rectangular, but I'm not sure.
There's a picture of some Zahnverleimung here:
http://www.solid-holz.ch/index.php?article_id=108
but I don't know what it's called in English.
I've found the exact phrase in German here:
http://www.linguee.com/german-english/translation/riegelarti...
This is obviously someone else translating the same text as me, but they didn't know how to translate it, so they just put "glued wood construction".
Thanks!

interlocked and glued
I don't think 'riegelartig' means rectangular - I think it means literally "like bars", and is more or less synonymous in this context with 'verzahnt', which translates as 'interlocking'. Anyway, googling "interlocking and glued" gets quite a few hits for wooden products, and the pictures look fairly similar.
This is just to get the ball rolling, because I'm not an expert in this field by any means, so maybe someone else will have a better suggestion!

Thanks, phoeberuth, that looks very hopeful already. |

special serrated edge process used for bonding
My uneducated guess, FWIW
Besonders robust und verzugsfrei durch längsseitige riegelartige Zahnverleimung
Extremely robust and warp-free design guaranteed by the special serrated edge process used for bonding

Make that
'...for superior bonding'

The 'Riegel' in 'riegelartig' probably refers to a block(board)?
Blockboard is a wood based panel, made up of a core of softwood strips glued together....Blockboard is used to make doors, tables, shelves, paneling and partition walls.
http://blockboard.com/
Blockboard is made up of strips of wood up to about 25mm wide running parallel to each other, which is the core of the board. The strips are placed edge-to-edge and sandwiched between veneers of hardwood, which are all glued together under high pressure. Blockboard is usually restricted to internal applications such as joinery, door blanks, furniture, and shopfitting.

If so, then I would suggest the following, again with CL2:
Extremely robust and warp-free, bonded/glued lengthways (like a blockboard) by a special serrated edge process

Once again:
Extremely robust and warp-free, bonded/glued lengthwise together into a block by a special serrated edge process

the teeth are square or rectangular, not pointed, I guess.

Reference:
...bonded together using a special serrated edge process
Matched panel segments are bonded together using a special serrated edge process. This process provides long lasting resistance to splitting, warping and shrinkage. Particular care and attention is given to the matching of colour and grain when processing panels.
