I understand this is some kind of silicone sheet but I'm not sure how to translate "ajouré" - I found hem-stitched or openwork in the dictionary, but I'm wary of making something up. Here is the sentence:

It has to be said that this is a relatively unusual version, as most of them are usually smooth and continuous; I couldn't help wondering if perhaps they really meant 'alvéolé'? It possibly all depends just what they are cooking on it?

I get the impression this may be referred to as a 'baking mat' in the US, as shown in Rachel's ref., though as a GB native, I can't say I'm personally familiar with that term on this side of the Atlantic.
