Rectification - ma formulation est assez maladroite tout compte fait.
Je pense qu'il serait mieux de traduire par :
Le poids de granules correspondant au contenu du sachet est ajusté à l’aide du placebo.
Sur la base de ces 2 phrases, c’est ce que je comprends. Mais ce n’est pas très clair effectivement

I'm assuming that what they mean is that the (neutral?) granules are mixed with the placebo — presumably there are also some that contain the real drug? Unless they mean that the placebo sachets contain only granules, and hence perhaps slightly more of them, to make up for the lack of the active ingredient.
