Yamaha values a long-life model approach in this category. This also helps to keep a high trade-in value of previous generation bikes. Therefore the ‘identity’ of the original FJR was retained by staying close to the original silhouette, and not making changes for change's sake. The base of the bike is on an extremely good level and the key goal for MY2013 FJR was to add improvements where they are most efficient and most important for its target group.

agree  Victor Santos: Une préférence pour le pluriel ("des modèles") mais, à mon avis, vous avez bien fait de vous passer de "approach", qui alourdit la tournure.

  -> Merci. En fait, j'ai utilisé le premier sens de "approach" donné par le Termium et je l'ai transformé en participe passé pour pouvoir retourner la phrase tout en conservant l'idée.
