in aqueous solutions Explanation: I think it's just a convoluted way of saying it..... as you yourself guessed. But I wouldn't use "water samples" -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 19 mins (2015-05-13 09:49:09 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- It is strange, but a solution can simply be considered as a matrix (the dissolved material contained within a matrix of highly mobile solvent molecules, i.e. water molecules if an aq. soln.). Unless they're doing high-spec protein analysis it's almost certainly aq. solns. |
