Spanish term or phrase: topes en las orillas
Para el manejo y colocación de concreto:

a) Colocar topes en las orillas para los camiones de transporte de materiales, en el caso de colados realizados en zanjas, cimentaciones y excavaciones.
b) Señalar el nivel máximo de llenado de las ollas para no sobrepasar la carga admisible.
c) Evitar golpear la cimbra durante el vaciado de las ollas.

Explanation:
Yes, tope basically means "stop" (as in a door stop), so I think curb would be okay to use in this case, though it would probably have to be fairly high to stop a truck!

I know you've closed this now, but thinking about it again, I would go for something else as I don't think they would really be curbs per se (perhaps curb stones). Maybe a word such as "buffers" or "butts" would be closer to the source text. I was thinking perhaps they would be more like a version of those humps you sometimes see in car park spaces to bump the front wheels against in order to stop the cars from knocking against the wall in front of them.
