SPAIN. "Repilo" is leaf spot, but I'm not sure what the common name of "repilo plomizo" is. I found "grey rot" but need confirmation.

Explanation:
I found this using the Latin. It's often just referred to as leaf spot.

If you want to distinguish it from other forms of leaf spot, which may not be necessary here, then it's Cercospora leaf spot.

Example sentence(s):
  • "Emplomado o Repilo Plomizo - Pseudocercospora cladosporioides del Olivo"
  • First report of Pseudocercospora cladosporioides , the causal agent of Cercospora leaf spot of olive trees, in Tunisia.

Notes to answerer
Asker: "Repilo" is leaf spot (as I mentioned above) but the "plomizo" variant appears to be something else, at least the way these interviewees distinguish it (Repilo, Emplomado y Antracnosis).

Asker: On the other hand, this olive diseases site reckons they are all more or less the same: http://olivediseases.com/el-emplomado-del-olivo-una-grave-enfermedad-poco-conocida/

Asker: I think you may be right and they are just different common names for the same thing. Client was in a hurry so I've delivered the text.

Abstract:

Abstract:
Olive cercosporiose caused by Pseudocercospora cladosporioides is an important fungal disease, widely distributed on most olive growing regions in the world, although scarcely studied. The lack of information about this disease let us to begin a research line on its etiology, epidemiology and control, so the objectives of the present work were to study culture media and environmental conditions to growth the fungus in vitro and to determine cultural and morphological variation among pathogen isolates from different geographical origins and cultivars. The direct transfer of conidia and/or conidiophores to a plate with PDA medium proved to be the quickest, easiest and most effective way to isolate the fungi from infected leaves. However, we were not able to get isolates in season different to winter or fall. Conidia were not produced on any culture media assayed. For this reason, the characterisation of pathogen was performed using conidia formed on the lesions naturally infected leaves. Out of 59 isolates were studied from varies olive growing areas or cultivars in Spain and from Morocco. Additionally, 4 isolates of Pseudocercospora ceratoniae obtained from carob tree (Ceratonia siliqua L.) were used for comparison. Result showed significant differences among isolates and greater differences between both fungal species.
