Bus/Financial - Human Resources
German term or phrase: redundante Qualifikation
Engagierte Mitarbeiter mit redundanter Qualifikation

This phrase is just one of several characteristics of a company in a brochure. The other bullet points relate to production and operations. "Redundant qualification" in English is either misleading or abstruse (google results of "redundant qualification" all point to "unnecessary/unessential"). Surely it cannot mean "superfluous". Does this mean the employees have overlapping qualifications so that all areas of the business are covered? I'm trying not to use "redundant" to avoid the British meaning of "no longer employed because there is no more work available".

Mit überqualifizierten Mitarbeitern wirbt keine Firma, deshalb denke ich, dass das „redundante“ hier eher “plenty of“ bedeutet.
Sounds a lot more positive, I think.
