Nie zgadzam się. Ogólnie kierunek dobry, ale średnia to konkretny wskaźnik statystyczny, o którym tutaj nie ma mowy. Wyznacznikiem rynku jest na ogół indeks, chyba że wyraźnie mowa o czymś innym.

The text does not specify which kind of index this is, for example, branżowe wskaźniki finansowe, średnie wartości wskaźników finansowych dla poszczególnych sektorów (branż), średnie wartości wskaźników dla branży, etc. Anyway, to lag (odstawać, pozostawać w tyle) means to be numerically below the average market index/performance/return.

Ja rozumiem "large index weight" jako [Suncor's] large weight (25%) in CEI. Czyli jeden indeks, ciągnięty w dół przez dużo ważący a taniejący Suncor, versus rynek.

Ale im bardziej czytam tym mniej jestem pewna tego, co mówię - może ktoś coś doda.

Podoba mi się to wyjaśnienie, bo zdanie nabrało logicznego sensu. Ale chyba potrzebuję rozebrać to na części pierwsze. Czy tu mowa o 2 indeksach (CEI i indeks szerokiego rynku) czy 1? Czy może piszący zrobił skrót myślowy i "large index weight" = weight in the large index, czy jeszcze inaczej?
