Norwegian term

mo-pasient

Norwegian to English Medical Medical (general)
Forsøker å anlegge kompresser fuktet med adrenalin/xylocain over tannkjøttet, observeres som mo-pasient.

From ED consultation notes of a patient who started bleeding after gum surgery. Had been on anti-coagulants but ceased 3 days before.

Any help appreciated.

Maxillofacial/Oral patient

It would make sense in the context, the patient is admitted for observation under the care of the maxillofacial/oral team. I'm more used to it being referred to as OM though (oral maxillofacial)
Note from asker:
Thank you! This makes sense in the context to me too.

MO patient

Multiple osteochondromas
Note from asker:
Thank you for replying. I'm not sure that this is correct in the context though. There is no mention of multiple osteochondromas or any similar condition elsewhere in the notes.
