В словарях, по-моему, нет этого термина, но по смыслу, мне кажется, лучше всего подходит "встраивание", поскольку термин выражает структурное, "строительное" воздействие на психику и организм в целом (см. далее "building...")

Хм, был хороший термин импринтинг (включая генетический/геномный), нет придумали еще один близкий по смыслу...
Предлагаемый вариант перевода в значительной степени перекрывается с этим термином, см. напр. https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Запечатление, это вероятно минус, хотя по сути он, как мне кажется, отражает идею понятия достаточно неплохо.
Не думаю, что можно использовать встраивание или внедрение, речь идет об отпечатке на организме (как на физиологическом так и на ментальном уровнях) внешних условий.
