Spanish term or phrase: imágenes potenciadas en difusión Flair, en T1 y en T2
Hi everyone,

I came across this in the findings section of a brain MRI:

"RM cerebral: TÉCNICA: Hemos efectuado el estudio RM cranial con cortes axiales, coronales y sagitales con imágenes potenciadas en difusión Flair, en T1 y en T2"

My current attempt is "T1- and T2- weighted FLAIR images", which sounds nice enough but I'm not 100% sure it captures the meaning.

I would greatly appreciate your advice!

The target audience is in the UK and there's no indication where the report was written originally.

Thanks,

Nisah

Just ctrl+F "potenciada" or "weighted" you¿ll find it in the glossary, it is in Spanish, but it serves its purpose.

diffusion-weighted FLAIR, T1 and T2 sequences

Explanation:
"diffusion-weighted" is a separate technique and should not be omitted

I am actually not sure if diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) and FLAIR can be combined in one sequence. It is possible that a comma is missing, and the translation actually should read "diffusion-weighted, FLAIR, T1, and T2 sequences".
