The fin boxes are provided with stiffeners for connection to the ship’s
structure. The fin units are completely assembled in the workshop and
after testing are dispatched in this condition.

1 set Crux and bearings with grease lubrication

The seal arrangement meets the latest rules regarding biodegradable oil
(oil to sea). The upper and lower crux bearings are lubricated with
biodegradable grease.

The sealing for the shaft and the crux consists of 2
rings to the seawater side and 1 ring to the oil/grease side.
