The term "Weiteruebertragung" has to be used in German in order to distinguish the first "Uebertragung" (Einraeumen des Rechts zur Nutzung = Uebertragung des Rechts)from the second "Uebertragung"(Weiteruebertragung) on a third party. We don't have that problem in English because we can use different terms to achieve the same legal result. The first "Uebertragung" is the "grant" and the second one is the "assignment".

transfer of the right of use to third parties
This is a fairly standard clause in some publishing contracts, where the right to sell or transfer the right of use includes third parties. Usually some kind of clause is included, which regulates earnings divisions from such a sale.
