support, ménagé aucun espace autour des points singuliers tels que les
piliers métalliques du garde-corps, n'a pas créé de fractionnement aux contlournements des angles des façades.
Would "joints du support" simply be "support joints" or "substrate joints"? These tiles on the balcony. I would have thought that they would be laid directly on the cement but then where would the support joints be? I would be most grateful for help in understanding this.

I think this would probably be something like "joints in the substrate" as Tony has mentioned
Whichever words you use for 'support' and 'joint', I think to make it clear you need to express it as 'the [joints] in the [support]'
Note that in the FR, both nouns have a def. article, implying it is referring to specific ones.
