Norwegian term

selskapsledd

Norwegian to English Bus/Financial Finance (general) A tender
Could anyone tell me what this is called in English please?

I found the following online: Dette er viktig fordi mye av næringslivet eies gjennom flere selskapsledd. Eksempelvis betyr dette at dersom bedrift A er et heleid datterselskap av bedrift B, hvor bedrift B er eid 100 prosent av en enkeltperson, så vil også bedrift A defineres som 100 prosent personlig eid.

It's just different tiers of subsidiaries

corporate tier/ing

Tier is in fact my idea, though the confidence levelling lies in the problem no one else seems to have picked up on of selskap doubling as an association or partnership, the latter - unless an LLP - not strictly a body corporate, but a body aggregate, in Anglo-Am-Oz law.

Corporate tiers in this context, though corporate tiering is perchance usable more for US Am. consumption.
Example sentence:

sociedad de relación intermedia tiered entity (company or partnership)

It would have been easier for you to enter your discussion entry as an answer, though 'subsids' (+50%) IMO isn't quite right : the tiers could be a 'layering' of affiliates & associates (-50%), incl. gen., ord. & 1907 UK Act ltd. partnerships vs. LLPs.

is the term in economics. I guess you could play around with it to make it fit your needs...
