This is from a report about behaviour in society and the statistical findings from research:
"Se puede apreciar en el ajuste lineal de la dispersión de los resultados de conductas sobre el índice agregado, que hay un elevado grado de ajuste entre el índice de conductas y el índice compuesto, obteniendo un coeficiente de correlación elevado."

Hi, thanks for this. Whilst I agree that "fit" (or "alignment") is right, I'm not convinced it is "dispersion" as gráfico de dispersión" is scatter chart. Also, the two examples you have given appear to be by non-native English speakers. |

"Linear adjustment" seems to be more often used when the writer is an English native speaker.
