philgoddard
: I've already said this. And it's important to make a distinction between doctor/doctor and doctor/patient.

: I was the one who originally offered this translation to the asker, incl. before goddard, but he turned it down. Those are the two reasons I am putting a neutral here. Did you read about that in a comment I wrote a while ago? But your last ref looks OK.

inter-professional internet consultation
Or inter-practitioner, or teleconsultation. For once, I think Portuguese is more concise than English.
Online digital visits and/or brief check-in services, including verbal/audio-only check-ins. Inter-professional internet consultations.

You could also go with teleinterconsult, obviously, which is a translation and doesn't get many hits, but is easily understandable.

Barbara Cochran, MFA
: Irrelevant research/links, esp. since I see no reference in the asker's context related to dental care. More likely to be part of medical contexts that are general in nature./BTW, the asker previously shared with me that it's NOT "teleconsultation".

Reference:
'teleconsultation' or 'remote consultation'
From my alma mater, the American Regional office of the World Health Organization:
Teleconsultations: an essential tool for use during a pandemic
In situations where a pandemic is declared, the feelings of anxiety and uncertainty can overwhelm people, and health systems can struggle to cope with an uncontrolled and exponential demand. Without appropriate planning and mitigation measures, health services can be exposed to the risk of collapse caused by an inundation of queries that could be serviced by virtual means. Health facilities may become overwhelmed and have insufficient capacity to provide adequate treatment to those most in need of care. Teleconsultations are a safe and effective way to assess suspected cases and guide the patient’s diagnosis and treatment, minimizing the risk of disease transmission. These teleconsultations enable many of the key clinical services to continue to operate regularly and uninterrupted, both in preparation for and in the course of a public health emergency.

Discussion
Well, you would know what you need better than anyone else. But since you originally posted the same link as you have just now, I decided that you must have been looking for something that might be less verbose (based on your actual one-term question), and that means the same thing. Even one of phil's links mentioned the audio-video technology that is involved. One of my literary clients, who told me I was his favorite translator, was originally from Brazil, and I've translated 2 other books from Portuguese. So I think I "understand" Portuguese quite well, unlike what, well., huh, huh, hah... Have a good afternoon.
