From a letter, written in 1941 in Vienna, Austria:

"Ich bin froh, daß Rita masernfrei ausgegangen ist, oder kam etwa noch ein Nachtrag?"

Not sure how to translate "Nachtrag" in this medical context.

Nachtrag, in any case, is a delayed reaction of some sort.

agree  Björn Vrooman: Several of the people writing these letters aren't GNS, so there might be another interpretation I haven't considered. But masernfrei ausgegangen tells me she never did get the measles unless something has changed in the meantime (=Nachtrag).

masernfrei : is ambiguous as does not pinpoint whether Rita had measles in the first place.

Oddly, this meaning is not in any of my medical or Austrian language dictionaries, but is
crystal-clear in the localis/yed context of Vienna.

Otherwise, I am indeed 'nachtragend' when it comes to ProZ tactical voting.
