Italian to English Other Printing & Publishing

I guess this must be a typo as I find no reference to it in my dictionaries. It appears in the following description of the distribution of books within a library:

"....cui si uniscono i lexici giuridici e le biblioteche legali, da dove si passa sempre in linea retta al corpo civile, con i suoi commentatori, interpreti e repetenti"

Any ideas??
