Excellente typicité, agréable et très légèrement frisant et vert.
Tasting notes from a bottle of wine. Any good suggestions for 'typicité' (to improve on 'typical of its region') and 'vert' would also be welcome.

vert = young
Vert, "green" often used to describe wines that are too young and acidic, but since this is somewhat negative, you could opt simply for "young", as in a young wine that has vigour, bite, and a certain acidity.
I'll keep thinking about frisant...

* Garde Bresciano, rouge 1995 (Spia d’Italia)
Le vin d’un propriétaire réputé, acheté à la coopérative. Un rouge frisant (avec du gaz carbonique résiduel) à la robe très foncée sur des parfums de fruit noirs compotés. Une bonne bouteille pour l’été.
The gas given off during fermentation is responsible for the bubbles in sparkling wines, so you could describe it as \"slightly sparkling\" as some Italians wines are called...
Or: prickly
A wine with slight residual gas in it. Usually attractive in light young whites, but in reds it is often a sign of refermentation in the bottle or bottling of the wine prematurely.

sparkling
Could this be a French take on the Italian frizzante, by any chance? I haven't heard it used in this sense, but it just seems to go with "very slightly sparkling". I think green would be OK for vert in a wine context, and "excellent wine of its type" for "excellente typicité"

French Foodie
: You have to be very careful with the use of green in a wine context. Although it can be used in a positive way (eg describing the colour of a Riesling), it is often rather negative (ie sour taste of unripe fruit!)
