Basically, this comes from a Spanish editorial/article which talks about problems on the border between Ceuta/Gibraltar/Ceuta, etc. The phrase "un no-lugar" comes up (along with "una frontera con-sin lìmites"). The direct translation "no-lieu" makes no sense, but in English, nowhereland seems the most appropriate. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Explanation:
Comme il semble s'agir d'une "zone mal défénie" ou du principe de "territoires frontaliers versus lignes frontières", je pense qu'il peut s'agir d'une "zone transfrontalière". Cette définition semble s'appliquer autant à une zone qui fait l'objet d'entraide autant que de conflits.

Voici un texte d'un professeur de l'Université de Lille :

"La zone devient transfrontalière dans la mesure où elle est associée à une ligne-frontière de plus en plus perméable et ouverte, perçue comme un enjeu commun d’aménagement."
