I have to translate an English text into German that presumably had been translated from Chinese into English.

I thought that Chinese speaking translators probably could help here.

I would like to know which (peripheral vascular) body part "bulbillate" might refer to.

The word "bulbillate" comes from Latin "Bulbus" which you can find in modern Italian as "Bulbo." Look into a good Italian-German Dictionary and you will find the right meaning for it.

The few google results suggest that this is basically an adjective, meaning "like a small bulb". This could be a gibberish translation of the Chinese original. More context is needed to tell if it is so.

Bulbillate might refer to ballooned, and if it refers to peripheral vessels then it might refer to varicose veins found in both left & right legs & arms.

From the context you provided, I've found this patented invention of "Catheter based arrays for intracardiac ultrasound imaging."

In the "detailed description of the preferred embodiments" you can find the mentioning of the bulb, atria and ventricules. For this reason, I guess the so-called "bulbillate" shall mean the "bulb" which is the heart as a whole and "left/right bulbillate" might denote the left/right "atrium/ventricule."

Anyway, "bulbillate" means any not too big "bulbing." In your case, it might well mean the half of the bulb of the heart, not necessarily a bulbing caused by disease as I guessed without the context.
