publish a profile of your company
Explanation:
I do translations for a bimonthly trade magazine, and this feature (redactioneel) is just called a 'company profile' in the magazine.
It is an 'advertorial' in the sense that it promotes the company being featured, but is a profile of the company and its products/services.

For Jarry: I agree with your explanation of the differences between \'feature\' and \'profile,\' I was only quoting my J.I. Rodale.......;)

One more note for Jarry: I didn\'t necessarily mean for Chris to use the verb \'profile,\' but the noun - publish a profile - again, as I and others have said, it would depend on the context. If only one company is \'featured,\' the term \'company profile\' would be appropriate here........all a question of the context I think.

The bedrijf in question is a campsite. My client informed me (and I saw an example) that 'redactioneel vermelden' means that a paragraph of running text was included in addition to the basic advert. A basic advert (i.e. geen redactionele vermelding) means that only the campsite's basic details and facilities are mentioned as briefly as possible.

Mention your company in an article

Explanation:
Yes Chris, it means inclusion of an article. From the Dutch text I would guess it is not an article specifically about this company but the company will be mentioned in the article. You can probably tell from the context whether this is correct.

agree  AllisonK (X): on the context issue - but it does refer to an article either mentioning the company or featuring the company in its content

to write an advertising feature

Explanation:
I think it's a little stronger than "article". When I had my bar in Holland, I was constantly pestered by guys selling advertising space. This was often the carrot, certainly when you weren't an existing customer.

agree  writeaway: yes but didn't Allison basically explain that?

-> No, she used the verb to profile.

neutral  AllisonK (X): according to J.I. Rodale's "The Synonym Finder," 'feature' is a synonym for 'profile'.......;)
11 hrs
-> To feature: to give prominence to; to profile (what a horrible verb): to draw, write or make a profile of. A big difference don't you think?
