lob pass Explanation: a chip = boogbal (volgens Van Dale E-N) Volgens mij is een chipped pass een soort 'boogbalpas': een pass geeft naar een teamgenoot waarbij je de bal over een of meerdere tegenstanders speelt. Aangezien het woord 'boogbalpas' weinig geslaagd is, stel ik de vertaling 'lob pass' voor. 'Lob' is ook een woordje dat je in elk voetbalverslag hoort, dus het is zeker bij iedereen gekend.
