nicht Lebensdauer, sondern Produktleben. Solange ein Produkt lebt, wird es produziert, im Katalog des Herstellers angeboten, usw. Wenn ein Produkt durch ein neues (Nachfolgemodell) abgelöst wird, ist das Leben des ersten Produkts zuende.

agree  Ian M-H (X): Bedeutet oft, auf Software bezogen, dass Support eingestellt wird, siehe z.B. http://www.techspot.com/story3272.html . Das Produkt selbst ist vielleicht bereits seit einiger Zeit nicht mehr erhältlich. // Ja, Elkes Note macht es klar!

  -> Stimmt, was du sagst, aber hier geht es um spezielle Computertaschen, un da werden vermutlich alle paar Monate neue Taschen entwickelt und andere eingestellt, da es die Compter gar nicht mehr gibt, die da mal reingepasst haben.
