| Reference Reference information: 対訳のsuggestionが浮かばないのでコメントだけなのですが… "nurses, clad in anesthetic white white, babbled hospital talk" 前後の文脈がわからないので断定的なことは言えませんが、一読しての印象は【感情を感じさせない】【無感覚なほどの】といったニュアンスから、血の気の通わない、人間味のない様子に言及している、というものでした。なおごめんなさい、Yasutomo Kanazawaの回答には100％ disagreeです。an aestheticとは全然別物で、後半の「hospital talk」をみてもここはanesthesiaのanestheticであろうと考えます。 |
