Notes to answerer
Asker: I'm not sure it is the product. The text is from a salon so I guess my question would be, is it possible to do that "style" for real? in a salon? I'm sorry I can't give much context, the owner of the salon is very nervous and mumbles things... if it doesn't exist as something you can get done in a salon, maybe he's just referring to something cool...

agree  Wendy Petzall: That's why context is soooooooooooooo important! I would say something like "cabello corto al vuelo"... but... Compare images at www.flairhair.com with images at http://www.hoymoda.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/272.jpg

distinguido

Explanation:
Flair speech : discurso distinguido, personal, singular
