2. Judgment--Partial Assignment of Judgment Valid Between Parties--Estoppel of Judgment Debtor to Question Validity.
A partial assignment of judgment is valid between the parties, and where the judgment debtor paid the unassigned portion of the judgment to the judgment creditor, such judgment debtor thereafter will not be heard to say that the partial assignment is void as between him and the assignee.

brings a legal claim in court. An assignor is the party that holds the judgment transfer rights. An assignee is the party to whom the judgment rights are legally being transferred to.

"Assign your judgment to a judgment enforcer, which means you give up ownership of your judgment. Assigning your judgment means that you forfeit ownership of your judgment permanently. It is a one-way sale that cannot be reversed except by finding and obtaining the cooperation of the person you assigned it to; or working and paying for a court order voiding the judgment assignment to them."
