This is for a public lighting system - it's in a table that sets out different tests for voltage and current etc. Any help much appreciated!

With so little context, it's hard to be sure, but if that could fit with the rest, I think it is likely --- in order to perform the test, you either use the computer, or a special keyswicth, to put it into 'override' mode

'marche forcé' has come up before on KudoZ, and I think 'forçage' almost certainly amounts to the same thing, in which case 'override' is probably good.

'keyswitches' are commonly used to control operation / access of many devices...
