German term

Autonomie

German to English Tech/Engineering Manufacturing
Das Nachfüllen der Pouches erfolgt manuell durch den Bediener und die Autonomie des einzelnen Magazins beträgt ca. 8 Stunden; das Fassungsvermögen beträgt 1200 Pouches/Magazin.

Any good suggestions for Autonomie in this context?

I quite agree with Ramey Rieger. If there's no diff between the two terms, why would they use different terms over there?

operates autonomously

I think capacity would be the Fassungsvermögen and Autonomie refers to how long the magazine functions before reloading.

Sorry, forgot the "a" : with a 1200 pouch capacity......
Example sentence:

The pouch is refilled manually by the operator. Each magazine operates autonomously ca. 8 hours with 1200 pouch capacity per magazine.
