Context: a description of a multimedia tool designed to help visualising different "Themenkarrieren." Unfortunately, I don't have very much context, there is only one sentence on a PP slide. "Themenkarriere", as I understand it, describes the cycle of a news story: a story is initially reported by a publication and if deemed sound and topical, it is then picked up by other publications and the broadcast media... Is there a specific term in English?
