I can just guess the meaning of this term may be "department head" but anyway I'm not sure. Can anybody help me? Thank you!

agree  MariyaN (X): I think "managers of the respective departments" would be more appropriate exactly because we can see only one word 各長 and no context. 各 implies that there are several of whatever follows - like 長 in this case.
