It does not sound like an industry standard term, so the context seems important--the other parameters on the list, default and possible settings of the parameter, whether this parameter is for a port, a group, or the general operation of the hub, ...

I don't know anything else about it. It suddenly propped up as one of the parameters that can be changed for a LAG on a user manual for switching hob software.

What sort of "lock" is that? Does it prevent a port from being disbundled from the link aggregation group? Or does it prevent the bandwidth from shrinking by swapping an inactive port with a standby port?
