tee rail Explanation: Nesu specialistas, bet gal šitas? O šiaip gaučiau iliustraciją ir ieškočiau pagal ją arba klausčiau angliakalbių srities specialistų. Reference: http://www.railsystem.net/guard-rail/ |

frogs Explanation: https://www.trackopedia.info/encyclopedia/infrastructure/tur... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Railroad_switch https://www.railwaysignallingconcepts.in/railway-signalling-... The frog, also known as the common crossing (or V-rail), is the crossing point of two rails. On lines with heavy or high-speed traffic, a swingnose crossing (movable-point frog) may be used. A guard rail (check rail) is a short piece of rail placed alongside the main rail opposite the frog. These ensure that the wheels follow the appropriate flangeway through the frog and that the train does not derail. The term 'frog' used to describe the part of a turnout where the rails converge has equine origins. A frog can be found on the underside of a horse's hoof and is shaped like a letter V. It's said that early railway engineers were reminded of a horse's frog by the converging rails at a railway turnout and the name stuck. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Railroad_switch Reference: http://www.rail-fastener.com/railway-frog.html |
