Hi,
I'm translating a Brazilian service proposal from a Notary Public, detailing services offered to businesses.
One section lists prices as follows:
- Autenticação -
- Reconhecimento
- Abertura de firma
For the first two I'm fairly confident you can use Authentications and Signature verification respectively, but I am unsure where that leaves Abertura de firma.
From what I understand this involves depositing a signed form with the notary for the purposes of them having a 'master copy' of your signature for subsequent verifications... I cannot find any examples of English language notaries offering a corresponding service, but need a workable translation and preferably one that would be 'officially recognised'.

Correct me if I'm wrong . . "Reconhecimento de Firma" refers to getting your signature recognized/verified, however, "Abertura de Firma" refers to the actual opening of the business itself.
Two meanings: Firma = Signature (Spanish/Latin?) and Firma = business.
